Our role

The Minister for Planning appointed a panel to consider planning permit application PA2016/5118, called in from the Melton City Council, and EPA works approval application 1002191 to use land at 408 - 546 Hopkins Road, Truganina and 1154-1198 Christies Road, Ravenhall for the expansion of the Melbourne Regional Landfill.

The permit application was on public exhibition from Tuesday 14 June until Friday 15 July 2016.

Making a submission

The period for making a submission closed at 5.00pm on Friday 15 July 2016.

Directions hearing

The directions hearing was held on Friday 5 August 2016. A second directions hearing was held on Tuesday 6 September 2016.

  • 28 and 29 September 2016
  • 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21,24, 26, 27 and 28 October 2016
